Does anyone have any ideas on what is being pumped into Liam's mouth?

I already asked in the FAQ to see if there was an official answer and was told to use my imagination, but my imagination is actually why I asked in the first place. I have several ideas on what it could be, but can't decide on one definitively enough to just enjoy the scene instead of questioning it. I've decided that since I don't have an answer, then I'd do the more fun thing and post the question to see if anyone else would reply with their own thoughts.

Of course, I could just be wrong about this, since I haven't learned code(yet) and don't have access to the game's code to even try to check. It doesn't quite work with multiple instances of camo-duck or even wendigos handling RNG on an individual level, and it definitely doesn't work with how multiple ghosties work just fine while in the same stage; at least small bats and purple slimes could be explained to have been made differently. I am decently sure that even if I'm not exactly right, then I'm not entirely wrong, since it does still explain the patched werewolf bug and why no creature with a fail state sends Liam to the start of the current stage instead of a distant den or on the spot. If I am wrong and someone could explain how it actually works I wouldn't mind an explanation.

However, after typing this out I have realized that I would suggest making it so there is a "press Z to continue" prompt after the struggle bar for the vore runs out, so that it doesn't cut straight from the vore scene.

Editing to add that I have since realized that the ghostie doesn't really make sense either. Failing the ghostie minigame has them seemingly possess Liam, but since they're now confirmed to not be actual ghosts but just creatures with powers of flight and camouflage, that shouldn't be possible.

Is there any other I missed?

I've tried to figure out how to do the potion quest and I'm still stuck. I spent way longer than I think I was supposed to just waiting for him to go down to the potion, and once down there I did learn what he needed for the potion, but now I don't know how I'm supposed to give it to him.

Trying to complete this quest has kept me feeling lost and like I'm doing something wrong through each step. I'm still not entirely certain if he just goes into the basement after time passes or if there is an amount of progress the player must meet first. At no point does talking to him have him even mention the potion, and it takes him a while to go to the potion. When he is inside the basement there is a sign that says back at 9 A.M. but the only clock I can see is entirely unmarked and seemingly works in a single loop, meaning that there would be distinction between A.M. and P.M. The sign also seems to disappear once he leaves the room too, so a new player would need to see him enter to even know he goes down there.

Once he is inside the basement and working on the potion you can finally learn what he needs in order to complete the potion, but he doesn't seem to say anything if you talk to him and I don't know how to acquire the ingredients he needs. For the ectoplasm thought the ghosts would be the way to acquire it, but even after trying with an empty vial in my inventory they didn't give me any. For the slime essence there are two different slime types, so stating which color of slime would be a nice start, but even after that neither slime seemed to give me slime essence.

I assume it isn't about the powers as I already have both the ghost and slime powers and it didn't solve anything. I'm not an expert, but I doubt most players are going to be following a single NPC around, so most are probably not even going to find out he has a quest, and even if they do I don't know if they're going to be able to figure out how to meet the requirements to complete it.

Also, was he meant to have a watersports scene or am I misremembering? I thought I remembered one of the devlogs saying something about watersports, but I'm not seeing it when I checked through the devlogs.
