Mostly due to AI. The story could have been impactful, and some of the character writing along the way was good, but towards the end it started to feel like it was treating a SA/trafficking narrative like a throwaway true-crime story. It also kind of lacked cohesive connections to the deduction mechanics; there was too much evidence that was not necessarily specifically tied to identifying characters, and identifying characters didn't really seem impactful to the story/game (much of the evidence revealed the characters' involvement before they were identified). The developer mentions repeatedly in the comments that they're "not a writer" so I wonder if the clunky connections between the writing and mechanics was due to AI used in the writing (vs just the images)?
