How does the game fit the theme?
In Biscuit Bandit, you sneak cookies out of the kitchen prison and into the safety of your belly. Plan your path, snatch as many biscuits as you dare, and make it back to your hideout before you’re caught. The bigger the haul, the bigger the risk!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Skybox and some materials are from the asset store

Omg, that was so adorable! Amazing character models! Perfect interpretation of the theme :)

Visuals and theme are great, but I had technical issues while trying to play the game in browser. Camera kept floating around and I am not sure why but objects did not react properly. Cat didn't move at all and after opening two drawers I was unable to interact with anything else.

Haha, that racoons voice!

unfortunately I had trouble interacting with the drawers and ended up getting stuck inside the drawers (the top drawer only lit up when I jumped at it so I jumped into the middle drawer with the top drawer opening right above me)

This took me back lol. These extremely simple 3d browser games were the best back in the day. 2 things: Viewport is gigantic, to view this (1920x1080 viewport I presume) game, you need a 1440p screen at least, I had to zoom out the page to view the entire game window on my 1080p monitor. Mouse sens is insanely high as well. Other than that I enjoyed the game. Not much to do but it doesn't have to have much content, just running around was fun.

Overall: The setting is really fun, but I wasn’t able to enjoy the game because the difficulty is too high.

Hits:

  • The setting is great; being a raccoon that sneakily steals stuff is really really fun!
  • The audio design was on point.
  • The visual design was great too! I loved it!

Opportunities:

  • The difficulty is just too high. 30 seconds to get 5 cookies means that you have around 6 seconds to get each one which is not enough time, especially if they can move around.
  • The controls need polish as there’s one cookie that can spawn in a location that’s pretty much unreachable (in front of the cat, top drawer).
  • The yellow highlight of interactable elements in the game should appear from a larger distance to draw the players’ attention.

I like the idea and the raccoons are so cute! but I couldnt collect any cookies cause I couldnt figure out the drawers. A quick popup at the beginning with the controls would help

Concept is cool. I had camera drift and couldn't figure out how to get anywhere in the first 3 rounds.
