the controls were very unique and it felt kind of like a rage game like getting over it or only up, but i had a lot of fun trying to go for gold. the controls could still use a little fine tuning though like coyote time and air control. good game

Developer

I was definitely thinking of games like getting over it and only up (and elden ring but you know... kinda very different game :D ). Really happy to hear you had fun, going for gold was my motivation when testing the levels as well :D

Cool idea! The controls did feel like they could use some finetuning. especially not being able to move in mid air and losing all momentum on collision with a block felt e-a bit unintuitive, but other than that unique concept and nice game!

Developer

Thanks! The inability to move in air was a design decision. We wanted the player to be mindful of their positioning and inertia since you cannot correct mid-air. I was sure it would put off some ppl but we thought it makes the game more interesting :) Thanks for playing.

The death animation is what makes this game! Couldn't stop laughing the first time it happened. Really funny idea.

I also really like the rotation-based movement. Took at little time to get the hang of, but then I found it really interesting to play around with. Good job on the animations and character controller!

Developer

Thank you! It was my first time doing a physics based platformer so getting the movement right was a fun challenge, glad to hear you liked it :) And the death animation was a goofy experiment we decided to add randomly, happy to see ppl like it :D

The idea is okay. But the controls did not feel really good, and some sound effects and some music would have been great. But overall a fine little jam game.

yeah the controls are definitely not going to be liked by every1 :D thanks for playing! we have music actually but there's a bug, we have a fix and will prob update the submission today so ppl can actually hear it :D
