Ranked from 16 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
The main character is a jester. Jesters were historically strange in rank (or place), since they were seen as low-rank but could criticize their rulers without punishment and join battles to rally soldiers.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I did not make the music, "Move Forward" from Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

How many people worked on the game?

I like the art, animation, music and simple controls.

It's hard to aim towards the flags and it's not clear how many points you need, to win against the enemy.

Overall, a fun, creative game that has potential.

A small, strange game. It was funny for a few minutes.

This was a really fun little game. The spinning movement feels super smooth and satisfying, especially threading the tight paths, and the charge mechanic adds a nice risk/reward; going for max speed feels great, but overshooting can punish you hard in a fair way. The art/presentation is charming too (Jestortoise is hilarious) and the music does a good job keeping it lighthearted and upbeat. I hit 16,110 power, enemy score 5000. Great job!

Certainly a strange place. I really like the theme and art, what a funny little tortoise :) I was a little unsure what to do, and how the scoring worked, but I figured it out in the end :) Good game!

Lovely art and the game felt great to play. Also nice how you kept the flow between levels. The reward/lose feeling was on point. Great game.

Cute game, the controls felt really responsive. I didn't really understand the enemy score at the end (do they have a jester rallying them too?)

Thanks for trying the game GlitchKat. Yeah, I just chose some random values for the enemy score; I should've made it more clear. A more fleshed-out game would have the jester join the troops in an actual battle. Maybe I'll add that in the future.
