How does the game fit the theme?
No Verity fits the theme “Trust No One” by placing the player in an interrogation where every suspect conceals part of the truth. Evidence can produce truthful, misleading, or useless testimony depending on how much pressure is applied, so neither the suspects nor their statements can be trusted completely. As the investigation unfolds, even the detective’s role in constructing the truth becomes questionable.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The game was developed using the Unity engine and the DOTween plugin. All other code, artwork, writing, music, sound effects, UI assets, and game design were created during the jam.BGM From Purple Planet Music

Really nice game! Love the art style! Great work!
Nice character art and sound design, great work on evidence presentation (both text and sprites)
Would be really good if i could watch evidence description right from the dialogue where i am picking them (like by hovering over it or something), this would remove a bit of friction
This game is seriously amazing! Visually stunning, one of the prettiest games I've seen in a jam. Storytelling is concise, but still interesting and paints a picture. I would've liked some extra guidelines for how to play the game part of the game, didn't realise for a long time you could click the evidence button on the top right. Very solid entry, wish a lot more people play it!
