How does the game fit the theme?
The premise of the game is that you are a detective that is trying to find your "Doppelganger", a folklore monster that is attempting to blend in with the rest of the town.

The citizens of the town will comment on your looks when you ask them, however not all of them are trustworthy...

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some audio clips (e.g., Background Music is from YouTube with proper credit)

How many people worked on the game?

Cool idea and the game itself. It would help a little to distinguish the characters, to not ask the same one again. Also what is a chance, that I started the game, I choose a first person I met, misclick by mistake, and kill a Doppelganger XD.

really cool take on the theme.

killed way too many people just because they contradiced each other^^

i think the red button is offset somehow (it pressed the wrong one when i pressed it)

Very interesting idea! I wish there was a bit more to deciphering who was telling the truth and who wasn't based on their dialogue and occupation. Everything worked well though and I liked the detective journal mechanic a lot. Great job with the visuals for such a short period of time.
