How does the game fit the theme?
The theme “Trust No One” is revealed primarily through the player themselves. You are not a real fortune‑teller. You pretend to predict the future, but in reality you collect clues, compare facts, and draw conclusions about what actually happened. Then you use your findings to make convincing “predictions” and deceive clients. But the clients are not always trustworthy either. They may withhold information, hide important details, or tell a story that contains contradictions and inconsistencies. You’re lying to your clients. Sometimes your clients lie or hide something from you. So who can you trust?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
AI Disclosure

This is our first game jam, and we used AI assistance during development because the concept turned out to be more complex than we initially expected

We changed and adapted almost all of the AI-assisted content used in the game. All sprites and visual assets were created entirely by us without AI

The music and sound effects were taken from free, publicly available sources and combined/edited for the game

We wanted to disclose the use of AI openly out of respect for the jam rules. We understand that AI-generated content is prohibited, and if this submission violates the rules, we completely understand and accept that the game may be removed or disqualified

I didn't really get how to progress once the false statement is identified. Couldn't find anything with the mirror. The concept and the ambience were cool though. If you could explain a bit more about how it works I'll try again :)

Great use of various gameplay elements. Nice job on the art and atmosphere. Good sense of mystery and discovery. Well done!

Just looked at the facts book and there was cursive writing again. I saw it in one of the games I rated for this jam. It's better for players who can't read in cursive to have a UI text that displays the writing without cursive.

At first during the card clues section, I struggled to figure out what the green and red cards do as I clicked on them and they largely did nothing other than discard the selected card. I'm really sorry that I wasn't able to understand that part of the gameplay.

However, the good news is that the concept is neat. You look at cards for clues, then you use a mirror and a crystal ball to uncover the truth.
