The dying player is soul shifted into a nearby spectator, who will continue the fight !

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Not the assets: parallax from Edermunizz, characters from Penusbmic - Sci-fi. The code: Yes (We used bevy_rapier2d, bevy-parallax)

I really enjoyed your game! I thought the art style was fantastic. Not to echo others but I agree with them that I was a bit confused at the start. Great game overall!

Unique experience! The graphics and audio were simple, but effective. The innovative theme added a layer of excitement and kept me engaged throughout the game

The art is amazing and the theme is a great idea, it seems like the game isn't fully finished but I can see this type of gameplay being quite fun. Maybe each spectator could have different abilities so you have to adapt to a new move set when you die.

I’m still developing it (I’ll just put a link in the page to the new version if it’s allowed (with a warning to rate our game only based on the itch.io version)) And Penusbmic (the one who creates character assets) has created some other amazing characters.

Being a possible feature, we did not implement it at first <3

We sure will ! We didn’t finish all the must-have to named it a ‘game’.

We will add a long/medium corridor of columns to let the player test their abilities and backseat them a little. And implement the movement/‘AI’ of the boss.

We will prbly add some lore and ambiance to the boss fight.

(we really liked building the game structure.)

Thank you ! The parallax map is from Eder Munizz and all the characters (minus small fx fix) are from Penusbmic.

We wanted to create a BossFight game, where you, as a small and weak creature, are sent into the pit (the arena is not built yet but the spectators are there anyway). But when the crowd laughs at your death, your soul shifts towards a normie in the grandstand (bushes), like a parasite you will control their body now.

The boss will have to fight hundreds of clone parasites.

The Boss being static it breaks the fight concept :)

Nice selected graphics! I'm not sure how to play the game itself, I went right and left and didn't see any enemies?
