This is really quite nice for what it is. Movement feels good, gameplay is quite tricky to get used to, especially learning to deal with those red guys with the forward facing shields, and the presentation is quite polished. My strategy was to try to have as little ricocheting happening as possible so I didn't accidentally shoot myself. If you have more than 1 shot bouncing around it quickly gets very hard to track, but then that can be a blessing because you inadvertently save yourself when your spare bullets take an enemy out and open up an exit for yourself. I kept getting killed at the 30-35 second mark, but then I managed to get a lucky ghost powerup drop at 30 seconds and it carried me to 4th place.
There's a lot of skill to this in learning the enemy patterns, but it also has a lot of randomness to it if you get easier or tougher enemy spawns. It's also way more dangerous at the top and bottom of the arena than at the sides because of the window shape and not seeing the enemies spawn behind you, but that feels like part of the challenge. I'd also say maybe make it so the enemies stop tracking your position once you die. If you wait on the death screen, they keep spawning and just start collecting on where you died.
