Very nice game, it was fun to play but did get a bit too replitive as the game went on and there was not much else to the game after the first few minutes, flet game could have been much better if it had more content or enemies to it. Also the dungeon crawler side is very basic, not much really going on to make that part interesting so the combat was the best part of the game.
Good work with games and nice ideas, just need expanding on to become a much better game.
Pretty fun, though I played for 20+ minutes and never engaged with the deck-building mechanics. The base set seemed to do the job well enough.
There is a lot to be liked about this one. The deck building is pretty intuitive and the overall experience was solid.
If I could wish for something it is strafing support (AD) and turning on QE but this is really nitpicking.
Well done!
I'm not normally a fan of deckbuilders but this had just the right combination of intuitiveness and complexity to be really fun. Good job.
Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Dungeon Crawler Jam.
This started very promising but it became obvious quite early that it wasn't in a complete state. Its a bit sad cause I wanted to show that I understood the game and needed a challenge to match that.
The cards are very basic but somehow that all that needed. You get indulged in the world and the combat works fine. The game needs a bit more work, but may become something great!
Great job!
I stopped with a base damage of 19 and a deck of 6 cards including two lvl 3 skeleton keys because at any point I couldn't leave the deck in the inelegant state it was. The current level contains 20 rooms.
The game is fun, I specially like the Key card as well as remaining draws as the limiting resource. My first time encountering a dragon was cool as at this point I thought I had already seen all the different enemies.
I enjoyed this! I keep saying cardgames are not really games I usually enjoy, but of the several I've played this jam I've liked a lot, including this one. The mechanics are simple but intuitive, but possibly overall too easy. I'm not sure when the dungeon ends, but I went through several floors.
With some polish and updates to add a bit more challenge and variety this could go from good to great!

Thanks for playing and for the recording! It was great seeing someone do an extended playthrough.
I made some tweaks right before the deadline to make it easier, so my balance tuning note is wrong. Initially it was really easy to die before you got any new cards/upgrades, and I over compensated since I didn't have enough time to play test thoroughly.
Once again, thank you kindly :)
Nice little game. A bit easy but that's not a bad thing in a game jam. Nice touch with having cards to perform world actions, not only combat. Graphics is nice too. Good job :)
Unfortunately I have "soft disqualified" this entry because you have added a link to bugfixed/updated version of the game to your project page. This is just something you don't do in a prized jam since it may give you an unfair advantage to the other participants. Soft-disqualified games remain on the submission list so that they can receive ratings and comments (because I believe that is valuable to the developer), however they won't be eligible for prizes.
Thanks for the feedback!
Fair enough on the disqualification. I don't normally do prized jams, and I honestly forgot there were prizes in this one. Apologies for breaking the rules.
I liked the Deck Builder combat, I panicked a few times drawing 3 keys in the middle of combat.
Thanks for playing, glad it created some dramatic moments for you :)
I made it to floor 5 before my hubris caused me to think I could take on an extra monster before the boss. Got stuck on keys and died. It was a fun run, I like this entry.
Nice job! I'm glad you liked it
It's a nice concept, it's fun to play.
The balancing was too easy in my opinion. Cards with the “draw x card(s)” effect are overpowered. They're quite common, and as the cards immediately return to the deck after being discarded (without going through a discard pile), it's easy to break the game by drawing infinitely.
I got to the point where I could play almost infinitely without needing to build a new hand.
Having said that, I'm well aware that it's very difficult to have time to balance a game during a gamejam.
I've spotted a bug. At the end of a level when choosing an upgrade, if you click outside the frame, it loads the next level without allowing you to choose an upgrade.
Below, a screenshot of the moment I stopped playing, my character having become unstoppable, condemned to crawl the dungeon forever... spooky stuff :o
Thanks for the thorough feedback! I struggled to get all the mechanics implemented with enough time for thorough balancing as you noted, but I'm glad you managed to enjoy it for what it is :D
The mechanics here were quite interesting, even if a bit confusing at first. I thought that you always need attack cards to attack mobs but those are just buffs :D. Once I understood how it worked, I really loved the concept.
I will say that the movement was horribly slow, so that could use a little speeding up to make it quicker to traverse the dungeon. I did quite a lot of floors until I was unlucky enough to roll no keys in my hand and no draws left so I essentially soft locked myself.
Chickens were present, theme was pretty strong with the deckbuilding.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I'll change the movement animation from a spring to an easing function and reduce the duration a bit so the movement is snappier. I'd love to take this concept further and see what kind of potential it has
Really sweet design, the level generation let me play endlessly and the deck building was nicely done. Great work!
Appreciate your feedback and thank you for playing :D
