Honestly this game is rather weak, there is not much of interest going on, the lack of feedback from combat really does not help and enemies just being floatings skulls felt boring, the eyeball enemy was a bit more interesting to see at least.

The distance check is helpful but I made it to the statue yet nothing happened. The idea of destroying walls sounded good but I was not able to use it.

I hope you can still do well with it. Maybe if you expanded on it, it could be good. I think if you carry on with it I recommend having some sort of feedback in combat, that would help with the feel a lot.

Very spooky. The graphics are cool, the movement isn't too bad and the music helped set the tone. At some points, seeing the fog over the enemies wandering around in the background is unsettling.

Overall needs some polish. Some sound effects and more feedback could go a long way. Enemy/play attack animations, attacking sounds, footsteps etc could add even more to the creepy vibe and overall just more variety to bring it to the next level (abilities or something). The turning is too slow and could be snappier too.

Gameplay here

thanks for your feedback! i accept the vibe, music is good. Surely will take your inputs and improve it more. I will work on movement and enemies and more missions.

Cool vibe, combat is slow though so I just run from enemies. The distance indicator in place of a minimap is cool. I don't think I destroyed any walls.

I like the design of the enemies.

thanks mate

Creepy enemies! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Dungeon Crawler Jam.

I agree that the eerie music sets a nice vibe.  It is kinda spooky the way nothing seems to care that you're there.

But yeah, the feedback isn't quite there, and I couldn't progress past the statue either.  There was also a weird thing where I left the bounds of the dungeon and started to rise.  Then I went back and ended up on the roof.

thanks for your feedback. i wanted the vibe to be eerie and mysterious. Sure If this game looks cool, i will add feedback system and add more missions like killing monster and getting items eyes, skulls then do rituals etc. I will work on strafing part.

A bit generic dungeon with a bit plain textures.

Combat should have more response,. you can basiacally just run through the enemies and pick up healing pop corns on your way to the statue.

I reached the statue but couldnt interact with it, It stated that the mission was a succes though.

I run into an issue when leaving the dungeon area which ended me up on the floor without possability to get back in. I had to restart the game.

I liked the eerie mood of the game :)

I think the biggest drawback of this entry is the lack of feedback: some sound/shake/effects/visuals when you are damaging an enemy or taking damage would've helped immensely.

The concept otherwise is pretty solid and the implementation of mechanics is fine.

Yes, I generally focus on gameplay and coding and making a rapid game. I will surely add effect to make it appealing.

"Mission Completed"

In my opinion perspective is good and walking feels good but turning doesn't because you're stuck for some time after you turned. The overall game is a bit slow and lacks catchy feedbacks when fighting yet I had fun looking for the statue using the distance meter and trying to walk through the enemies fast enough.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice entry! I like how you showed the distance from the demon statue, it was a cool puzzle to try and navigate to it using your distance. However, I wasn't sure what the purpose of the destroying walls was. It was hard for me to tell when I was doing damage to enemies during combat. Also, I thought the movement felt a little clunky to me, especially turning. There were also some issues with the procedural generation. The second time I ran the same I was just in a single hallway with no exits. There were also a couple of times I could see the default unity skybox (not the view distance you can walk right up next to it). Also, when you enter the void you start flying upward and I could walk around on the top of the level. Overall I like the concept, great work!

Thanks! I used 2d vector to find distance to do this as i just started 48 before submission :). I thought to add some feature to place and destroy wall to go to hidden dungeon or make your own dungeon but couldnt complete apology for that. Yeah i will fix those ones maybe bad optimization. Then you can use X button to come out of that situation by breaking wall. I would need to add cobblestone walls then. Thanks mate for your suggestion. I would like to build more on this game further.
