How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
We planned to create something but problems happened during the development. A bit unlucky. So we deliver what we could deliver in the remaining time. I guess you could also say that trapped inside a dungeon that leads nowhere and nothing to do is unlucky too.

Good use of 2 days, this is cool. Almost felt like an endless runner. Be cool to see pit falls and edges. Maybe the bats knock you about if you don't hit them or something. Either way, good work

I had a lot of fun, the dev really nailed the theme 100% :-D.

There's something surprising about this demo. An idea worth exploring.

Developer

yay, thanks for the comment ^^

As what's effectively a tech demo, this is super cool. I love the retro 3D look; it's one of those things were even just walking through it is kind of fun itself.

The optimal way to play this game is to spam Z and X to simulate being a maniac trapped in an endless hall of pacifist bats.

Developer

lol XD

yeah it is cool to see the 3D effect XD

Thanks for the comment ^^

Interesting! The specific form of the 3D visualization makes me a bit dizzy just looking at it, but it's an impressive project nonetheless.

Congratulations on the submission!

True X"D

I felt a bit too the first time and got used to it since I need to watch it repeatedly to debug it X"D

Thanks for the comment ^^

X tunnel scene but as a medieval dungeon! The palette is well chosen to fit the mood. I like it!

Developer

Thanks XD

I'm glad you liked it XD

Very cool tech demo! Love the knife animation and the music.  Would've liked to get some of those bats but you can't have it all.  Hopefully you're more lucky next year!

Developer

Thanks for the comment ^^

Yeah, took a while to figure out how to render it properly for wall, floor, ceiling and fixing the billboard X"D

I wish I've had more time to make the proper collision later X"D

I know you said that you were unable to finish the game, but this is still a nice little tech demo.  It was fun for the 30 seconds I spent sprinting with knives out.  Hopefully you can do even better next time!

Thanks for playing the game ^^

Yeah this is more like tech demo rather than a game

but it was really fun implementing pseudo3D XD

Thanks again for the comment XD
