How does your game relate to the theme?
The protagonist of the game, a fallen star, journeys to find their missing “sparks” of light to reform a constellation in the sky. Along the way, each additional “spark” gained sets off a new reaction in the world, adding a layer of color to be visible. Finally, we were inspired by sparks flying in the heat of battle; our fallen star protagonist battle their way against rock foes to recover their lost companions.

I really loved how original and creative the core gameplay mechanic is! The sprites, animations, and sound design all work together to create a beautiful atmosphere and tell a colorful story without relying on words. I had a great time playing it!

The only thing I struggled with a bit was getting used to the key inputs and coordinating the hand movements, but once I got the hang of it, it felt much better. Overall, it's a very polished and enjoyable experience. Great job! :)

thank you!!

The color mechanic is great and used in creative ways, with jumps requiring you to switch colors mid-air. Also using colors for combat made the gameplay fun.
I wish I could jump with W as I had to do some awkward hand movements, but that's probably just me ^^'
Good job !

thank you!! We got the thing about the awkward hand movements from another playtester at some point as well and ended up changing the keybindings thanks to his and your feedback!
