Description
An attempt using only an electric guitar and some editing in Audaticty.

The first track is based on playful romance with two tracks (G Major and C major) getting closer in both stereo (panning) and scale as the song progresses (the final second of the song is when both instrument play the same scale but retain the chords they started with, meaning they change for each other while staying true to themselves).
In context this meant for exploration, perhaps using some kind of aircraft. It loops.

The second track is pretty much trial and error (mostly the former).
In context it's supposed to go with either marine exploration or exploring underwater areas. It loops.

The last track is quite simple.
The final part is meant for fast scrolling credits/supporters and a huge "thank you for playing" card.

Theme

Songs of a Forgotten World

How does it fit the theme?
I tried to make the songs sound a bit alien, not quite familiar (forgotten world is not familiar afterall). For the first song I also wanted it to be like an actual folk(?) song of this imaginary world.

With just the guitar sounds, the tracks feel exceptionally empty. It's a cool experimental soundtrack, but it doesn't feel like complete songs. More just like a guitar jam session. Other instruments and especially percussion would make it sound a lot more like a full OST. The final song was the closest to feeling full with that lower sound that felt like a pad because it filled out some of that empty space.

Yea, I agree it's udercooked. Given the short timeframe I just couldn't afford to have other instruments in the mix.
Thanks for checking it out

this is the most experimental ost i seen in this jam, its good in that aspect but in the others it lacks a lot.

. it needs in most of the recording some sort of rhythm instrument, you could have make it with another guitar taping or doing smt to keep the songs firm

. learn about double tracking, it gives your recorded instruments a lot more depth

. learn reaper, just that

. better song structures could help

there are some other things like fade in/out to end, begin and make songs loopable, better mixing, etc

i hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to listen and the feedback!
I appreciate you putting it in clear points.

You did really well with the guitar! Though I'd say these tracks could benefit from some more variety on the instruments. Maybe a harsher, louder mixing would work too. Good stuff though. Keep shredding!

Thanks!
I find your point about the mixing interesting. I'll give it a try one day.
