  • fractals are definitely not what I was expecting to see for a game. it was (for me) hard but I did after some time figured out how it all worked. I like that you implemented this into a full game, it really made me think about where to place the lines and how they worked with each other. One thing that seemed odd to me was that once I placed the line I couldn't try and place it again in a different spot without having to restart the whole level. I do like this game but I do not believe that this game fits the theme of the game jam.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
You draw fractal platforms. Then you jump on said fractals to reach the goal. There are some restrictions, so setting up your fractals is not trivial, it's the puzzle.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
I love fractals. Not weapons. The best I could do is this: “You are a weapon of BEAUTY. CRACK this world’s puzzles by unleashing the BEAUTY OF FRACTALS”.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Levels 6 and 7 show what this idea is truly capable of.

What an interesting game. The idea of making fractals as platforms is quite unique, and the puzzles presented here show a bit of the potential. Honestly, it'd be cool to see this fleshed out in some form with all the bells and whistles. It's rough that the game got DQ'd, but I hope you continue to make games and experiment with things.
