  • Wow this is an excellent start! I think the systems you have in place are solid. I love progression in games and this has it. A big thing with these games are the numbers. I definitely would like to see what kind of damage the weapon is doing. That really brings home the progression. Very very solid foundation. I really like where it's going and I hope you continue with it. I definitely want to play it again in the future. Can't wait to see what else you create!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes, but now I'm checking again

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
A simple Idle game with two layers of progression, a disposable Unit, and the Weapon, simple UI based controls. Uses timers to progress the game state, gameovers when the weapon breaks... numbers are probably wonky

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The core Idea, though possibly not well executed is that this is the journey of the weapon, not the wielder while the weapon is strong, its strength gets its users killed.

Wish I could see this after a little more time in the oven--would definitely benefit from a fast forward button too.

Thanks! I've been working on it when I get time, I've managed to generate an attack deck menu (though not make it do anything yet).

Numbers go brrr. Would definitely like having more visual feedback of my actions, but system feels solid!

Also love the power up names and the triangle comment LOL

Thanks! I wanted to do some small animations, but I haven't worked with making those before so I just didn't have time to learn durring the Jam.
