• Top Goat is an interesting and entertaining platformer with a fun central mechanic. I especially enjoyed the ram feature. The sliding on the icy mountain path added an extra layer of challenge that felt grounded in reality, which was a nice touch and helped tie it together. Unfortunately, I struggled to progress past the first group interaction. On several occasions, I got stuck between four goats pushing from all directions, leaving me completely trapped. In other attempts, multiple goats pushed me out of bounds. This just means that I was not the top goat, which is fine. The music was fitting and helped support the lighthearted tone of the game. However, I would have loved to hear sound effects when colliding with other goats. It would add a layer of feedback and make the interactions feel more impactful. Your GDD includes all the essential elements but could benefit from more detail and visual support. Including images or GIFs to demonstrate key mechanics would enhance the clarity of your design intentions. Overall, Top Goat is a fun concept with charm and potential. I’ll definitely be coming back for another round!
