I love the art, it's super cute.

I'm having a hard time between the forge and the anvil - the forge is great, there's the sweet spot, but then with the anvil, the black bar goes up and down so fast that it's very hard to hit correctly, which then it cools down and I need to reheat it, and rinse and repeat.  I couldn't get past that, so I just kinda gave up.

I love all the ambient sounds, that's a really nice touch!

It’s very confusing; I didn't like the tutorial, and the game looks completely blurry. The art style is odd—though the fact that some pixel art is blurry while other parts aren't actually keeps it from looking bad.

The gameplay is far too confusing, and there's an issue: it doesn't really fit the theme. The GDD is terrible—just one page? You need to do better; it’s too short and brief—it looks like it was rushed.

Hey, thanks for the comment.

Oh yea, I definitely need to improve on my tutorial skills. I need to be alot more clear on things 100%

Why does the GDD matter so much?  The game is the most important part, not the GDD.  Be kinder man, we only had 2 weeks to make this

It's a fine game, but the tutorial arrows were getting in the way a bit at the beginning. Also, everything but the ladder had a tooltip for interaction, so I wasn't sure what to do to get out and fight right away. It is also odd, that when you lose your health doesn't also come back so you almost have to waste a round getting health back before trying again. It is an interesting concept though! Crafting like your life depends on it. Good work!

Heya. Thanks for tbe kind words.

Yes, after submitting the game to the gamejam. I let my friends play and most of them had an issue with the ladder as well.  I definitely need to work on my tutorial skills in the future 🙂‍↕️
