Design Statement
This music sounds airy and wide open, and it makes you slow down without even trying. Now and then a light, playful melody pops up, like the traveler humming to himself. It makes me picture a lonely person driving a small spaceship that looks like a camper van, drifting slowly through dreamy outer space. He isn’t rushing anywhere, and he doesn’t seem sad. He just stops and goes as he likes: resting near a star, making a hot drink, looking out at the nebula. Sometimes the music feels far away, and sometimes very close—like a quiet, easy, occasionally cute camping trip in space.

Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
Launch steps:
After downloading the corresponding executable file, simply double-click it to run.

Controls:
Use the keyboard and mouse for control.

Tab opens the inventory.
Mouse wheel switches the held object.

On land: WASD to move, Shift to walk faster.

On the spaceship, press V to toggle maneuvering mode (low-altitude flight or interstellar maneuvering).

Interstellar maneuvering: Space to ascend, Ctrl to descend, WASD for spaceship maneuvering.
Right-click on a celestial body to engage autopilot.

Gameplay overview:
Starberth is a casual exploration game where you pilot your camper-like little spaceship and explore and sightsee among the stars.

Use the printer in the spaceship’s bedroom to paste the photos taken during your travels into the star map journal.

Multiple planets within the main star systems can be entered and explore

Use the warp engine to travel thousands of light-years away!
