Play game
At the Window's itch.io pageTANGIBLE
One single click triggers a quick interactive micro-animation: a creepy figure with scissors suddenly appears outside your window at night. After that, nothing else happens, no one tells you anything, and you are left to make your own hypotheses.
INTENTIONAL
The player only needs to click on the screen to trigger a 0.6-second micro-animation. The goal is to create the shortest horror game in the world—an entire experience that finishes in the blink of an eye.
NOVEL
This is my very first video game ever. It was my first real experience with game programming—from stepping into a completely new field to dealing with stressful bugs, the struggle of finding the right software to fix them, and the constant fear that nobody will like it or that I might see another project fail.
YOURS
It was originally born as the shortest horror animation, but it didn't succeed because YouTube penalizes one-second videos, so I turned it into a video game. Furthermore, it was originally supposed to be part of a cancelled story series. In fact, the figure with the scissors does have a name, but I won't reveal it. For now, maybe. . .

Omg this is your first game? And you posted it here? Bruh I am honoured. And, congrats, you're officially a gamemaker! Did you enjoy the process? I really like the moon.. reminds me of the creepiness of Majora's Mask. Do you think you'll expand on this? You could create a thread in the Community tab and come back to it occasionally, there's still time left in the month. I feel like one really choice sound effect, and a thumbnail, would elevate this to the next level.
Hy, thank you so much! I am truly honoured by your words, and the Majora's Mask comparison is amazing!
To answer your questions: yes, i really enjoied the process, despite the stress of fixing my very first bugs.
I prefer to leave the game without audio, because that way it stays similar to the original YouTube video. The absence of a cover or images is completely intentional, just to give it the vibe of an old first project. As soon I can, I will create new games.
Thanks again for the warm welcome!
Ooh I like that you've got strong design instincts for these things. That's definitely something to protect. As you develop your game portfolio, those little decisions (like no audio and no thumbnail for a specific purpose) will become the cornerstone of your style. In my case, I decided to lean into my shaky hands to give my hand-drawn art a distinct animation style to everything. I think that instinct is what makes us artists. :)
