I liked the level design and the art style, very beatiful tileset, personally, I think for rpg its better to keep the HUD showing, to understan when to get a life or which weapon I am holding, but fun game to play

Yeah i agree with you on the HUD. Apparently I disabled it for the final release and never noticed. My bad! Feel free to enable it and play like that ;) I don't feel it's fair to fix it myself before the jam voting ends- will fix afterwards.

I like the humor in the signs and commentary. The game was a bit too hard though, especially the bosses, haven't been able to finish it even after several tries...

Thanks! It can be finished successfully, but you need to ration your weapons right and/or do some serious backstabbing. If you're not in the mood for that just rush the final lever and run back to the cage. It's not so satisfactory, but works most of the time ;)

A charming forest romp with rats, bandits and an evil king! There's even a rat who is trying to collect scrolls! I really like the tileset change you made! it reminds me of old NES/pixelated Ultima games! I really like the "forest walls/trees" that merge really well with the other trees!
