The switching gravity reminds me of the Gravity Potion from Terraria! Really fun to just mess with and run around. I had a small bug where if you pressed space twice in quick succession it would not flip the gravity correctly.
Thanks.
I do have a hint about why their is this bug. I do check is the key is pressed without buffer.
I'll tweak a bit after the jam to check out :)
It’s a simple concept, but very well executed. The gravity switch is pleasant and doesn’t feel janky, and being able to go from one side of the level to the other is nice. I really appreciate the progress animation of the plants (maybe adding sound feedback when a plant is ready to harvest would make it even better?). Also, adding some feedback to signal the timer is running low, and introducing some form of adversity (patrolling enemies? retracting spikes?) could improve it at low production cost.
Thanks 😁 Nice score !
Unfortunatly i run out if time 😑
There was a nasty bug in one if gdscript i've spend 50 min to débug.
Few feature were not add due to that freaking bug:
- Box affected by Gravity which push you back if touches
- A sound each 15 sec + bip for last 5 sec
- A button which show the summary of score
Compromised needed to made 😅
No jumps, lol.
