I loved the worlds you built here! Great art style and I loved the connected planets <3
If you find some time this weekend, please check out our game “Starship Minis” and leave a comment to let us know what you think! /jam/vr-jam-2021/rate/1145490
Thanks and congrats on completing the jam!!
Really sweet graphics, the planets reminded me of Outer Wilds while the hands reminded me of Grow Home. Because of that second reference I felt kinda disappointed I wasn't able to climb the beanstalks... haha
You've certainly got something going on here though, with some more time, tweaking and a nice soundscape can imagine this turning into something really enjoyable.
thanks! I'm not rushing it as I don't want to influence the jam results anyway. I do however want to show off what the team did without issues lol so i'll probably get it done this weekend. Already figured out our ditched menu can now be used because there was an extra script on the EventSystem due to creating the canvas from the ui menu instead of the xr menu while using the new input system....long story
yeah we almost ran out of time and even forgot to attach some of our scripts (and others entirely got left out) so I'm planning to push up a v2 within the week for my own OCD's sake. I know this version is what counts for the jam though, just wanted to show off what the team made in a follow-up so it isn't forever lost
I had a very hard time trying to move around the space. Pushing in the stick made me jet so fast I couldn't figure out how to retrieve the resources in the game. A little explanation tutorial even in the comments section would help a lot!
