  • This project is first and foremost an experience. I particularly appreciate projects that are out of the ordinary. Here, it's a simulator that lets you visualize key moments (selected by the developer) in modern history. By discovering five facts in each session, from the late 19th century to the present day, the user must ultimately find the 50 moments hidden in the timeline. I love the sound design, and the music with its speed, pitch, ... depending of the choices of the player. The graphics are very simple but cute, perfectly in keeping with the project's theme. The diversifiers like "Rotating Sphere" and "Childhood" are a nice touch, with planets representing time and this way of revisiting significant childhood moments. If you go too fast, you're stopped by aliens in their spaceship (I thought I recognized some of them, like "Purple Tentacle"). It's fun. An original and personal project.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this game. The feeling of manipulating a mechanical device is very well done, aided by the excellent audio and some fantastic visual effects.

It plays with interactivity (trying to maximize between speed and discovering the historical milestone), with curiosity, and with… the desire to see the kitten purring! The beauty of the game lies in how a simple mechanic (a kind of compilation or collection of historical and pop culture data) is combined with extraordinary graphics and sound.

The alien minigames initially puzzled me a bit due to their meaning or purpose, but I must admit again that they are a delight both graphically and in the sound/sfx chapter.

The entire game feels solid, polished, and well-finished, with a defined framework, making it a small game of impressive quality. The attention to detail is evident.
