This is a great game for a first game : parallaxed environnements, a lot of visual effects and solid gameplay...
By first game, do you mean the first one you published or your truly first game ?

Thank you so much!! It was my truly first game, I had some minor experience in school with coding, but it was some years ago and I never really got the interest in coding, but with time I got into game developing with watching some videos and all, and I started messing with GDevelop like 2 weeks before this Jam, but all I did was try to make things move and all the basics. With this Jam I fully committed with learning and tried to make the best I could with the time limit.
Beautiful but yeah, the game design is slighly off. Can gets really good with some polish!
Really well done, from the look of the game to the upgrade system. Very nice
I love roguelike games ! :D
Enjoyed playing a lot and getting upgrades <3
Well made !
This is pretty good for your first game you've made on itch.io and for a game jam. I got to level 7 before an enemy dropped right on top of me and took me out. :(
If you want to improve the game, I suggest that you have the enemies and the player spawn at specific parts of the map instead of randomly around the map.
Game was cool! I think it would help a lot if the slimes could bounce up to you on the platform though! My favourite enemy was the crow, very fun to dodge!
You made good use of the features of the GDevelop engine, which is very suitable for developing this kind of game. The game might be more fun if the map range is larger, the health of the initial monsters is lower, random health recovery props are added, and the difficulty gradually increases.
For your first game this was great! And if you add some music this game is solid.
