As the tite says. Would be there any characters? If it yes, I would ask another thing, would be possible that the characters increase their cap by 2 or 3?
And one last question. It's might be weird or Idk, but the character in the shop would be any possible to be playable or something, I liked her design.

Yes, there are new characters planned, currently the new ones seem to be goblin girls (and possibly elves following that), it is unlikely you'll be able to increase capacity of the original unit without modding it. As for the shopkeeper, it was stated that she might become playable in the future under the condition of "becoming a valued customer"
