I am 28 days in and nothing happens. All I do is sleep and do labour work ever day. No events are triggering. What should I do.

There are lots of content, and taking your post into consideration I can guess you haven't seen much. I would recommend you play more yourself, because most events happen with time. Then go to the discord server, you can see guides on how to get every event and ending

Just do the deed with the doll and stream it, it is the main trigger for most events and it also can be pretty profitable.
