It’s a bit strange to me to turn with keys but aim with the mouse, my brain kept expecting

solid basis, feels like it’s missing the invitation to use the mechanics more as others already said

the type of mechanic you went for “you have only so many bullets use wisely” tends to cause a lot of the syndrome of “too good to use” and make the players passive, the game could use some incentive to counterbalance that

I loved the smooth controls, it's a pity you don't really use them. Maybe spawn enemies all around the player or have any kind of pickup to have some incentive to move?

I got 9th place! I feel like this game is missing something, but it was still a fun play.

Good job on making a game in a few days, I just wish the enemies did something you know? like a health bar for the player and it goes down when an enemy hits you, maybe the enemies could shoot back. Or just make it where the enemies one shot kill you if they touch you at all, would make the game a lot harder. At least the game functions though. Also I can see that you rushed to implement a overheat system.
