  • It was fun playing but! Some bugs, like falling doesn't actually kill you, which is totally normal! Keep up the good work, this could really turn into something great! The elements were fun to play around with and hope to see more mixes and designs.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
We made a platformer. The main mechanic is picking up ingredients around the level and using them to create potions. There are a few enemy types and a boss at the end.

Nice job in completing your game it was actually quite fun moving around and making potions, Cheetah potion Gang.
I would say that keeping a consistent art style is important, and when making a platformer you want to avoid Visual Ambiguity so the player knows what they can and can not jump on.
overall though this was a nice proof of concept making potions to make a build for your character so that everyone can have a different approach is a great way to make games replayable!

Cheers, hope to see you next Game Jam.

It's a bit rough around the edges, you seem to have implemented several ways of jumping in the game and a real tutorial would have been great.

Also be careful with platform merging with the background, I was surprised I could jump on the weird stone triangle platform.

Where shadow? Anyway with a bit of polish it could become great !
