I love the art of the game and the level design! It fits perfectly with the theme. Congratulations and keep developing games. :)
Thank you very much!!! Appreciate the kind words! :D
This game has EVERYTHING, an epic sound track, awesome level design, good sound design, very good artstyle. And everything fits together nicely!
I also like the mini puzzles, and the fact areas reset when you enter them, so you can't soft-lock yourself
Also, would've been a really fun idea if, for the ending we can just use the big gun and destroy the entire map!
Thank you!!! :D
Appreciate the kind words, happy you enjoyed it! <3
For sure, we initially planned to let you shoot the big gun and destroy stone but we ran out of time haha.
You managed to add way more things than i did 😅
You guys used your time very wisely!
This was a skela-ton of fun!!? Ey? eeyy?
Soundtrack was awesome
Glad you liked it! :D Our composer worked hard!
(Link to full OST in the game's description if you wanna check it out)
BIGGER GUN!!!
Woooo!! >:D
Incredibly cool game, like a mini metroidvania where your powerups can actually prevent backtracking instead of enable it, which is a super unique and awesome idea for a jam game. Also wanna give props to the super polished spritework and animation, and extra props to the music because it shifting dynamically when you get an upgrade is ace. Only issue I had was the bullets didn't consistently break things that they should've, especially close-up, but if that were polished out this would pretty much be perfect.
Thank you very much!! Yeah the tiles not breaking consistently is the biggest problem we didn't manage to fix in the time we had :'(
Appreciate the feedback and the kind words, cheers! <3
Amazing game, the level design is perfect and the end game is so fu, GG !!
Thank you!!! Happy you enjoyed the end. :D
Nice game and soo creative name 👏
I can imagine how hard it was to match same room to more than gun scale to go thought the room in one way while small but go another way while bigger with block the first way so you can go ONLY while small
Nice game!
Thanks!! :D Our game/level designer worked hard haha
Of course not him alone, Greetings to the whole team!
Quite smart how you did designed the levels, as you get bigger it blocks access to certain areas but you also get to access new areas. Quite genius in guiding the player around without have obvious signs. I really like the skeleton I have a soft spot for goofy skeletons, the art also is done really nicely. Well done!
Big thank you! glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the kind words! <3
This game is great! The gameplay is simple but a lot of thought went into it. The animations are sleek and very characterized and the music is fun and interactive. I love it <3
Tysm! Happy you enjoyed it. <3
Crazy creative using guns as physical objects!! My only concern about the game was knowing which gun will destroy each object... Like, I don't get why my main fire damage doesn't destroy the vines, but the double fire does. Maybe the first shot could be like a punch or a bone that doesn't destroy anything, and then the second shot could be the fire one. You could follow this rule for the other shot types as well. But besides that, it's a crazy creative idea for a game. Congratulations, I already know this one will be a winner in the jam!!
Thank you very much!!
Greatly appreciate the kind words and the feedback, you have a good point. :)
The artwork and style of the shooting was great. Creative use of the theme and puzzle design.
Thanks! Glad to hear you liked our idea and my art :D
The level design with the gun mechanics making you take up more space and jump less higher was really well done. Bravo! Also music was awesome!
Ended up playing the entire thing, the gun catching onto the environment was a good addition.
Thank you!! :D Hope you enjoyed it!
Amazing job! Finished the whole game, the art/music were fantastic and the gameplay fit the theme of the jam perfectly. Great job!
Tyvm!! Happy to hear you played it all the way through and liked my art :D
Fantastic music and sprite art, so dynamic! The level design was very clever in creating nice metroidvania style return pathing without ever getting lost.
Thank you very much! :D
Our level designer worked hard!
wow! this is by far the most impressed i've been by a game so far, the slow build up is so incredibly cool. the only thing i can criticize is that i never felt like i was solving a puzzle, but that's me assuming your design intention. and despite that the game still felt so exciting to play, easily my favourite ive seen !!
!! Thank you so much! Those are some very kind words. :)
We appreciate the feedback and are very happy you enjoyed it! :D
Wow! The pixel art is wonderful and the level design is really good. I wish there were some enemies to fight too, I don’t know if that would make it harder to traverse though. Amazing entry :D
Thank you very much! :D
This has some incredibly clever level design, you never get lost despite all the backtracking you do. It might be my favorite game of the jam I've played so far.
Does the first gun play daft punk as you shoot it? 🤔Not sure if I'm just imagining Harder Better Faster Stronger, but I love how musical it is nonetheless
Thank you kindly!!! Really appreciate the kind words and I'm happy you enjoyed it :)
It plays random notes on the scale of the bgm.
So for all we know yours could have randomly played Daft Punk ahahaha.
Very cool game! Finished it. The idea is pretty clever, and fits the theme really well, it is simple yet beautiful. Elegant.
