Gave all top marks! Brilliant little game <3

Nice work. Efficient simplicity makes the game easy to pick up and play.

It's very interesting how you need to combine the different ingredients, some which touch and other who need to be split, etc... It really makes it fun and intense at some point! Great work!

Really tasty.. I mean really great game

This is great, and I'm happy to see on the game page you're planning on a full release. This is satisfying like a tile placement games (with all the items giving each other bonuses based on being adjacent and other rules), but in a realtime hectic way. Super satisfying and I played it a lot (got 1000+ score!). The only critique I have is that if you avoid making the conveyor go faster and the food production increase, then the difficulty doesn't increase much.

Developer

Woah over 1,000 is crazy!! Didn't even know that was possible haha. I'm glad you're happy to see that there'll be a full release, it's been a really fun design to work with! :) Definitely agree that the game needs to have better difficulty scaling and balancing in general.

Great game, very enjoyable and creative! My only criticism is that the way the game fits into the theme is a bit of a stretch.

Really good idea. The speed and constant decision making is great .

More omelete Variety might help

Developer

Interesting point about more omelet variety. I'm curious if you have anything specific in mind. Do you mean more ingredients or would you want completely different base omelets?

Submitted(+1)

More ingredients AND different omelets that you unlock via progression, is my suggestion

Developer

Thanks, I hadn't really considered different omelets but I like that idea! I'm making more content for a full release so I'll see what I can do!

Absolutely loved this one! omelette deckbuilder?? Hell yeah. I think this might also qualify as an aim trainer haha.
And as always, the answer to the best food is cheese

Developer

Hahaha exactly, the extreme cheese strat always works ;)

Very creative concept and fun to play! I wanna play more and try to get even further, this idea has legs and you polished it very well for a 4 day jam.

Developer

Thanks I appreciate that a lot! Glad you see the potential in it because I plan on continuing to develop it a bit so I can explore some other ideas I have. Feel free to follow my page or sign up to the newsletter if you wanna be notified when the full game releases: Omelet You Cook (mailchi.mp)
