I Love the graphics its a simple game with great music and a good short story for four day this is impressive

Really fun concept! I had a great time with the intro and basic gameplay, and really enjoyed the visuals. The enemies encounters seemed to provide no gameplay benefit, so as it stands that's my biggest complaint, though I understand that they were planned to have more functionality.

Would love to see more from this game!

Pretty fun game, crazy music choice lol. I wish there were some fun sound fx in there. The health bar is a bit misleading with how quickly you'll be killed by the obstacles. It'd be fun if the bigger you are, the quicker you kill the guards or something like that.

I think that's a good runner with a very highly polished map and design. I'm just curious about the fighting system, it was unclear when i won or lost. Maybe focus more the runner aspect or polish a bit more the fight as well i don't know. Overall it's a very cool game !

Game Review Time

What I liked

This game's mood and music put a big dumb smile on my face. I was bopping to the music. I liked the little cutscene at the start and it fit into the theme relatively well with the player character shrinking. I also loved the animations and the king getting bonked is just him being squashed down like that.

What I didn't like

The controls felt a bit float when it came to the jumps, I feel with this kind of game you want the jump to either be a short or big jump, and give the player the option; unlike a plat former there's no point in giving the player a incredibly tiny jump, which I could do by tapping space.

Potential Improvements

I'm not entirely sure what to suggest for improvements here as the game is overall pretty solid. I feel any additional particle effects or shaders might take away from the feel of the assets and animations.

Overall Thoughts

One of the more solid entries out there, with a good grasp on the theme and a rats off the walls attitude. By the end of it. I'm the biggest rat, who makes all of the rules; and this game certainly rules :3

Thanks to the dev who came to my stream with this! It's very fun, but I couldn't coordinate the directed inputs very well with the controls. I also felt like i didn't have a lot of time to make them, and died rather quickly when i messed up. I feel like the jumping could stand to be a bit snappier as well. Overall though, great job!

A fun runner with lots of style. The minigame combined with losing size created a nice sense of tension that can be a bit easy to loose in this style of game. Really enjoyed this!
