Really nice game! I enjoyed it a lot ^ v^

Developer

Appreciate the kind words!

The gameplay is fun and the sounds are great. I like the addition of an opening cutscene. My main feedback would be adding some way to heal yourself. Also this is a fun take on the theme overall great game :D

Developer

The game is supposed to end at around 6 minutes so that's why you can't heal yourself. Might add that feature if I ever made an endless mode though!

Submitted

Ohh I like your take on the idea -- we had similar concepts! The art style is pretty good, love the story and the pacing is just right -- I wish the font size was a bit bigger, I had to squint sometimes.

Great job!

Developer

The game was supposed to be play on window build. When I exported the web version, there were UI misplacement so I had to scale down the texts :P

Thanks for playing my game!

This is a game that fells similar to Raft where you craft you craft as you go.  It's a interesting experience where you are harvesting the things you need to craft with and improve the ship.  It's bit tricky since the primary missile launcher is under powered, but it coll that you can upgrade as you go along!!
Played for tonight's livesream!!

Going Live now!! I will not be accepting requests on this stream... Thank you!!

Developer(+1)

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for reviewing the game!

Really well made! The tutorial was very good. The visuals are great and the game feels fairly polished. I agree with the other comments that the starting felt a bit slow where you kinda had to get damaged a bit to get started, but then it picked up. I still felt the difficulty curve, so couldn’t go past around 90k.

Developer (1 edit)

Ah balancing issue. I'm well aware of it. Shouldn't have messed with the code when there're literally 3 hours left haha.

Submitted

Very nice game. Fully fleshed out tutorial. Coherent and detailed graphical style. Nothing to complain about.

Though I have to say that the word meteorite is not the same as asteroid

Developer

Yoo, you're the first one to point that out. I looked up the dictionary after submitting my game and just hoped no one would notice lol.

Appreciate that you tried my game!

Submitted(+1)

I always used them interchangeably until someone corrected me, its not a big deal obviously

Submitted

Impressive job and a solo entry! I was a little confused at first how the rockets worked but I gave it a couple tries and got the hang of it. Only got to 100k but a fun entry! Good choices on the sound effects too!

Developer(+1)

They can only attack meteorites in range. Maybe I should have made some visuals to make it look more obvious.

Submitted

very cool concept and it works really good. Some shield option wouldve been a nice addition

Developer

I scrapped that because I didn't have enough time. But a shield component would definitely help.

Thanks for visiting ~

A bit confusing at first but then I got the concept and it felt nice. Good game. Well done!

Developer (1 edit)

I'm not familiar with making interactive tutorials so it can get a bit confusing. Sorry!

I had fun trying to optimise a build that would get me as far as possible! I was a bit confused at first but then when I worked it out it was a blast. I think the difficulty scaling is actually pretty good tbh, but maybe a ship repair to get some health back but which also costs more each time you use it would be a good addition? It gets very hectic at high distances, but personally I think thats a good thing. I had fun with this one and when the jam is over I might come back and try beat my score (somewhere around 190k). Good work!

Developer

190.000? Aw you were so close! You win at the 200.000km mark

Congrats on finding a way to clear out my game haha

Submitted

lol alright I have a couple more games left on my list and then I'm coming back to beat 200k!

Submitted

Wonder if someone really gets to 200000km and see the secret. Too impatient to watch through the whole tutorial and it's still surprisingly easy to catch up during the game.

Developer

It's nothing too exciting, everything turns white and you reunite with your crew. (Oh wait I wasn't supposed to spoil that. Welp, it's not like anyone will play the game once the jam ends lol)

Submitted (1 edit)

Wasn't expecting such a polished game to be made by just one person! and in such a short time too!

great game, but im a little confused. am i supposed to use the homing missiles to protect my ship? cause i keep dying

its probably mentioned in the tutorial but im too lazy to check again and cant remember

Developer

Yeah its purpose is to protect the ship. I thought it was pretty obvious lol. The meteorites will do less damage if they were hit by missiles.

Submitted

 ok thanks!

Submitted

Very polish and fun game! Very nice idea!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed my unbalanced and frustrating game haha

Submitted

Very cool game! The art is nice and the gameplay was smooth. It would be nice if there were some kind of enemy instead of blasting only asteroids. Other than that good job!

Developer

Didn't have enough time for that. Going solo is hard :( Thanks for visiting!
