I have a laptop with a Ryzen 7 4700U CPU and 8 gigs of RAM, so I'm worried this might be incompatible. Should it be able to run?

Steam page states 4gb of RAM is minimum, so you should be fine.

probably , this is what i have (havent played in a while i was missing it ... probably the best rogue spinoff i ever played ... cogmind wasnt bad, but i like this way more, happy to see they took 15 years to boot and now its still under active development, ganbareeeee!!!)
