It feels like an intro to a very nice game. It looks and sound very good and is really polished for a jam game. Also it feels just as a gameboy game!

How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
Made with GB Studio, this short adventure includes a "Spooky" haunted graveyard and a ghost... I had planned for more, but unfortunately one is all I ened up having time for.

Absolutely excellent demo! The character designs and music were standouts for me. Great job, I'd love to see more of this!!!
Really great game in classic GameBoy RPG style. Great sprites, great music, great storytelling. I was kinda bummed it ended so abruptly, but that's probably due to running out of time :D
I noticed some minor bugs like ghosts appearing again when interacting with gravestones multiple times and the rock re-appearing after leaving the vault, but nothing stopping me from playing. Very polished for a Jam Game. Great job!
Thank you for the kind words, unfortunately the shortness was due to running out of time, I had several things set up, but not enough time to execute them due to spending way too much time doing the art and music lol
It's my first Jam, so didn't know how to best manage my time, next time it's game play first, pretty stuff second!
Thank for the bug too, I've already fixed the rock re-appearing and a few dialogue issues in the post-Jam version, but I hadn't noticed the ghosts reappearing after re-reading the tombstones, will go fix that now :D
This was cute! It had point and click vibes. The bones of Dave in the tunnel was a nice touch. The interactions with the people (MEAT!) made me want to know where the story was going. The art and music are excellent. Really nice job!
In this style, I only played old Pokemon, but your game brought me a lot of nostalgia.
The atmosphere is good, because art, music and dialogue combine.
As for the gameplay, I really liked the interaction with the scenery as a way to solve the puzzle, I think that if the game continued, some action would make the rhythm perfect.
Unfortunately this game doesn't load for me and I can't properly rate it... Tried safari and chrome.
If your engine of choice allows it, maybe consider making a downloadable version of the game post jam?
The writing here is really superb. The concept is very simple but I was hooked from the start thanks to the dialogues (the music and graphics helped too, since the're also great). And this definitely gives gameboy vibes. Very well done!
The character design is so cool, it reminds me of Earthbound somehow. Nice work!
That was cool! The art is excellent, and the character design and writing is charming. The music is proficient; I especially like the somber and mournful introductory theme! Great work!
I've completed the demo and really enjoyed it! There's a lot of charm in everything, from the music to the characters and the artwork as well. I'll definitely rate high on the Gameboy Soul category. Even with limited time you've had it felt like a full experience of a game, amazing work!
Cute game! The pixel art is very expressive and the characters have a lot of personality, well done.
The game is amazing, really underrated
There is a small bug, when you get the money and get out of the room, the rock you mined is still there, but I think that just slipped cuz you didnt have enough time to refine it, still like the game and especially the pixel art
