How does your game fit the theme?
The game starts off being very chill and calm, but the longer you progress it gets harder/more intense by adding obstacles and weather conditions such as rain and storm. The main idea of the game was to literally match the theme word by word.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code and some of the art. The music and some of the art are external assets. See the game description for info.

Hi, thank you! It was probably unclear what the QTEs were trying to do and I should have added some better animation/explanation. Once you get hit by lightning, you get a set of keys to press in sequence (Up, Right, Down, Left). If you press them in the correct sequence you won't be damaged :D (Also you get to press an incorrect key and not be damaged as long as you do not do it two times in a row )
That was fun to play! Really fantastic job on doing this in just 20 hours, for sure a job well done
Loved the little character model and the interpretation of the theme. The music was fantastic! Overall a cool platformer with a bit of a ramp in intensity. Great work! Congrats and good luck!
Very beautiful music. Who is the artist behind the vocals? It sounds really good. The changes in the melodies are really nice! The detail when you collect the insect and it zooms in on the character is great. Also, when it starts to rain, it feels really nice! I felt sad when I lost because the character's cry is so kawaii T_T. The gameplay is good; it's smooth and easy to understand! Congratulations!
Hey, Thank you for your nice comment :D I assume you are talking about the first track, if so, it is published by Lesfm and here is the link:

For 20 hours it sure is impressive! A bit too hard for me, but I was able to see some QTE so I’m fine with it :)
even with a simple game you manage to make a highly imersive experience with some nice shots, using camera motions and good use of the sounds, very nice
Well done on your entry!
The camera zoom in when inspecting the bugs caught me off-guard, that was super smooth and a well implemented detail. Nice touch!
I enjoyed the overall vibe of the game and could see the vision of things going from super calm/serene to more hectic/stormy haha.
Good job with this. Congrats! :D
I really like the overall vibe, pretty chill. Gameplay loop was simple and fun. I would have liked to see more of the author in the sound and artwork. Decent adaptation of the theme. Good job!
Cute game and nice effects with the bugs and parallax, I could of wandered around just meeting bugs ^^
didn't get to any difficulty increase besides the storm, but a very fun game nonetheless! (my high score as of now is 70m)
cool game👍 I like the sound when you die
you can rate my game if you want /jam/brackeys-12/rate/2972040
Very nice vibes! I found the platforming a bit difficult, but still enjoyed it for the little while I played it. Very cute scene with the bees. I like that. Your characters have a lot of charm and a lot of life.
Please rate Hurricane Watch if you are able!
Having the game get progressively more difficult the further right you go works well with this theme, and the visuals are very nice too! Great work!
Cute game. I really like the changing of prospective when iteracting with objects
