Where to start.. streaming this live may have been a not great idea because I WAS SEEING ALL THE FLASHES BUT they couldn't so it looked like i was losing it in the best way 😭
The game is really well done, i really enjoyed it and booyy was it very familiar in some ways.
There was one issue with the S for the doggos name, but apparently it does need to be capital letters, but I REALLY ENJOYED THIS.

Thoughts of UsI enjoyed the mixed media visuals like when you were in the toilet answering the phone. It made the phone and text conversations stand out really well. The story did a good job of encapsulating the anxiety and internal dilemmas surrounding domestic violence, homophobia, and panic attacks/anxiety.

Late Night SurfingI’m not sure if I’m the only one who had the bug but it seems like when I got to the
(spoilers for act 4)
boss fight with mother, I had to type the protag's dog's name, but its name starts with 'S' which seems to trigger Ren'py's screenshot shortcut key thus couldn't proceed that part at all so I had to drop the game D:Despite that, overall I really love the visual style and how eerie the protag’s mum is. Also, the fox is very adorable <3 I’m just sad I couldn’t seem to nor figure out a way to bypass the roadblock.
Edit: Managed to finish the game, the reason I couldn’t get past in the first place was just ‘cause of my lack of attention LMAO going back to the protag’s mum, using puppet animation on her is a very fitting choice as it gave her an uncanny and eerie motion which adds to the protag’s view of how terrifying she finds her mother to be. Great job!
