How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?
The main character of our game is Mayu, a young girl who uses her water-based magical powers to wash laundry (not represented in game) but also enter into a space representing people’s hearts/minds. That space is shown as being underwater, with negative thoughts polluting that space. In the mind of the person, she can neutralize the bad thoughts with her power, liberating the person of the weight they have on their heart. Of course, before using her powers Mayu has to transform into her magical girl outfit. She also has a cute mascot with her, befitting a magical girl.

We chose the “Freedom Dive” theme.

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
The magical girl’s powers are originally water-based, but during the game, she manages to unlock a new potential and figuratively dive into her girlfriend’s heart to free her of the weight of all the negative and intrusive thoughts she has. The “heart dive” she does becomes a “freedom dive”, liberating her girlfriend from the depressing thoughts.

The mascot of the magical girl is a cute flying washing machine. As the magical girl’s powers are water-based and she can wash laundry with them, her mascot also turned into a washing machine.
