I feel like the next update should have optamization, before 0.8 (any update before 0.8 including 0.7) I could run all my graphics settings on max and still have 100 to 120 frames and even when it gets lower it never drops below 60, but now in 0.8 I have to use default settings or lower on some others with volumetric settings off and it's only 60 to 90 at the start of the game but further at the game it would drop to 30 to 50

revert the printer back to how it was before 0.8

i dont want to go through every file to just use it

The new cool things you can do with it now are enough for me to be fine with it.

starting around day 45, game performance really starts to tank. i had to reduce screen resolution to 60% and even then, any time i encounter the enemies that spawn during that part of the game, the framerate turns into a slideshow. i have a decent laptop, it's not like i'm running the game on a 15 year old potato, but man it's really bad.

in 0.7, i had no problem running the game at max settings for the entire duration of storymode, with all kinds of 3D printed models and high-res paintings. now i don't get to use much customized content because having too much of it makes the game unplayable.

The performance of the new enemies currently seems to be.. suboptimal to say the least.

Would be cool if you could sort the cameras in the computer. It would make navigating the cameras a lot easier. Maybe there could be a arrow (where my arrows pointing at) that you could hold, and then drag and drop where the camera is, or maybe a button to sort by alphabetical order. Like if you agree

Honestly, after the update with the new base, I feel like the game has lost some of its atmosphere. The base used to be quite compact, which really helped focus on the main essence of the game—searching for signals and all those creepy events.

Now the base is huge, and it takes a lot of time just to get to different points in the base, not to mention all the cleaning. This doesn't add to the gameplay; it just makes the game more tedious. I end up spending a lot of time on routine tasks, turning everything into a never-ending cycle of monotonous actions. Instead of focusing on development and the horror aspect, the game forces me to waste time on pointless runs around the station.

I really like this game and I will definitely follow it further and support its development.

I really do like this game and I wanted to give it a go myself after watching Vinesauce Joel play it, but this latest version is really hard for beginner player.
There is simply too much things to take care of: cleaning the base, sleep, food, daily tasks, transformers etc. The forest is hard to navigate during night time and capturing signals is really challenging even after watching tutorials. Of course this all could be on me for being beginner, but maybe different difficulty levels would give something for both beginners and exprienced players.

The game's atmoshphere is fantastic and what I've seen of the secrets and events, this game really is great. Can't wait to see the full finished release!

I really like this build and the game is fun but I do have a few nitpicks

Not a fan of all the crashing entities, yes I get the point but seeing them on day 2 when I'm just trying to clean the base is quite annoying especially since it takes so long to clean the place and they're rather pointless when you can save quit and keep going anyway.

Please fix Kerfus's pathfinding they tend to get stuck in a loop when gathering reports from one of the satellites

The update is cool. Regarding the new code locks. It's cool that you can interact with them using numpad. Incredibly convenient.

Why are the Y-axis coordinates inverted on the digital map? The same with the coordinates on the signal searching device, but on the X-axis. Is it a bug or a feature?

Small but really useful thing - please add a "windowed mode" setting. I like playing Joel's stream VODs while I play but the video pop-out can.t overlay a fullscreened game

Great game so far cant wait for future updates(pls keep the Half Life sounds forever)

maybe add a slenderman scare

Make a entity that interacts with the trash/garbage/scrap objects and can be friendly if we give him trash etc.

Like a monster that likes trash and all that (The trash monster would be a cool name)

Also maybe adding some things that can camp to the satellite to spook you or somethings (Like a tiny jumpscares when going to go repair a server in a satellite)

And a option so we can go into the backpack inventory when it's equipped and collect items to put into the backpack directly in it and not unequip the backpack, collect the item and store it in the backpack and re-equip the backpack.

Also want to say, the game is crazy good and super fun to play (And spooky too), i hope you will continue to update the game etc

Cool concept but overall it was an exercise in frustration. I stopped playing on the morning of the 2nd day (Tuesday), but after all the janky stuff and bugs the game was just too aggravating.

For one, the tutorial needs a bit of work, took me over an hour to figure out how to get the signal to download as the instructions don't tell you what you need to do. It tells you how to adjust the polarity and the frequency but not what I'm suppose to adjust it to. I eventually realized that you needed to get the input on both to %100. A simple line explaining that would have saved me an hour of frustration. In the story mode the polarity and the frequency keep changing even though the adjustments were set to 0, so I simply couldn't maintain a signal long enough to download, effectively soft-locking me from making progress, and this was my first attempt to get a signal at all. Not sure if this intentional, but I had no idea how to fix it, but at this point I had given up trying to play the game.

2nd, I found the controls to be overly complicated and very unintuitive and once out of the the tutorial and into the main game there didn't seem to be a reference for the more complex button combinations. I also found the inventory system to be very cumbersome.

3rd, I guess there is some kind of event where this Black Square shows up in the sky and starts killing you and there doesn't appear to be anything I can do about it other than try and stay out of line of site, which made it impossible to complete the satellite hash number tasks. This is clearly a scripted event because it kept happening around the same time every time I reloaded, but there's no warning for it and I have no idea how to stop it or fix it. Considering this happens the 2nd day, before I've had a chance to really figure anything out it, it's extremely rough and honestly killed the game for me. Maybe don't start with the Black Square of Death on the 2nd day? Like, warm me up first and let me get my head around the basics before throwing the End Times at me.

I like the concept of the game and the art style. All the weird object interactions are really neat and interesting too, but the issues really stopped me from enjoying most of it. I look forward to full release, assuming all the problems get smoothed out.

3rd, you just picked a very bad day to start playing, this happens guaranteed every 24th of the month.

oh really? well shit, I though that was just how the game was. I might try this again at a later point, but at time I had simply ran out of patience for the game.

every time I try to ping a signal it just keeps giving me "error [4] sensor error" does anyone know how I fix this?

Upgrade "Sensor success rate"

This became my favourite game, genuinely a 10/10 for a good few weeks until I reached the combat. They're an absolute slog to deal with, even just the zombiefur, and completely break the flow of the game. The mere knowledge that if I kept playing I would have to fight MORE was dreadful enough that I quit the game and uninstalled, completely deflated. Encountering the Arirals and fighting to befriend them while they bully the shit out of me was incredibly fun, and hiding from the wisps was terrifying. Fighting sucks, and prepping to fight feels like I'm being forced away from the actual progression systems in order to do state-mandated busywork or I'll get hard-stuck when an enemy rolls around.
Like I said, this game completely enraptured me for weeks. It was my favourite. I can't decide what this game is supposed to be, but if I would want it to be more of everything non-combat related. I don't think it's necessary to create tension, because it doesn't. It's just frustrating. I'm sorry. This game broke my heart and I'm not happy about it :(

I think you should update your trailer, I know the game is in pre-alpha but still..., because when I want to show this incredible game to my friends, I simply don't have material to show, and Im not going to show them the first trailer because it no longer makes sense to show it, because many things have changed
