The art style and lighting effects are top notch. The sound design is very satisfying as well.
Strong submission here!
I like the art style which reminds me a lot of Portal, for which I have only nice memories, the puzzles were well implemented and the sound design fit perfectly for the atmosphere, maybe I would've liked some sort of music (and maybe there is since I didn't complete all of the game yet) but it is normal if you didn't put any either by choice or by time constraints.
Well done!
Also, like others said there were problems with playing in browser, I didn't try in other browsers but with Chrome yeah, it gave problems, so I downloaded it and it worked fine.
Hi, thanks for your review, we wanted to add music but we found out that it didn't really fit with the atmosphere and sometimes make the player struggle to focus, so we added it as a small easter egg, sometimes windows will plays music !
And yes i think the browser version is not the best to play our game, that's why we made two versions, so players can have an alternative, the true game of some sort !
This is an interesting concept! The assets are well made and consistent throughout the game. I like the rewind mechanic and effect that goes along with it; makes for some interesting puzzles. Overall, great work!
Hey nice entry! I had a bit of movement trouble in browser but managed okay, pushed the block against a solid wall a couple times forcing a restart but I really liked the 'revive' mechanic and how it played into using your past self to solve puzzles! Well done :)
Hi, we are very sorry that you stumbled upon a game breaking bug, we never came across it so honestly i don't know why it happened, we still hope you had a fun time playing our game.
It was definitely still a good time, just wanted to report it so you were aware and to try to help fix it if I could. My best guess as to what happened depends on how the reset level button works. It looked to me like the reset was playing things in reverse similar to what happens when you die, with the player's reflection undoing every interaction the player had with the environment, and I imagine the reflection was having difficulty getting the cube back out of the pit. Having the reset level button actually reload the scene, placing you at the entrance of the first unsolved puzzle, would fix this; this would also be helpful for implementing a save system, as the first thing I did after closing the game was reopen it to see if I could continue from where I left off but I couldn't.
Really cool game play. Game looks great too! Great work.
Really cool visuals and a neat time travel mechanic. Seems pretty polished! Didn't get to the end though, it was too much thinking/planning for me for the moment
Really nice! Nice atmosphere and puzzles, unfortunately I had to download it because on browser I had a lot of movement problems.
It shares the same thinking mechanics as another submission Thinking with reflections and it was interesting to play both.
Yes, playing on browser seems a bit random, for some people it works fine and for others it doesn't. It was funny discovering Thinking with reflections thanks to your comment, it seems we are not the only one to have though about clone, even through our clone is reversed in time. Thank you for playing our game !
Perhaps the problems could be caused by the browser; I have been using Chrome.
Anyway, yes, both good games
I had no problem with playing in the browser. I love the concept of the game and the mechanics - you have to revive yourself and work with your past self to clear the levels. It is quite challenging, but that's okay :) Great job - and one of my favourite games so far in this jam.
Had a hard time playing in the browser.
Fantastic game! I had a hard time understanding how the game relates to the theme "Reflections"
Hi, we are thrilled to know you liked our game. As for the theme, we wanted to explore it a little more, your clone is litteraly your reflection in time starting when you die (and also the word "réflection" in french globally means "thinking".
