Fun concept and nice use of the theme to actual be freezing objects in place! I also appreciate a short simple game that is replayable. Are you supposed to be able to click skiers to save them? It seemed like that was happening but I thought the goal would be to help them get to the other side. Either way well done. Fun little game.
Thank you so much for playing! :D You can only click on the falling objects, not on the skiers, but you're right that the instructions seem a bit confusing on this respect n.n" Anyhow, we are happy you enjoyed it :)
Simple and fun concept! Art was cute and I liked the background music!
thank you so much for playing! Glad you liked it! ^.^
At first it was a bit hard to freeze the correct object at the correct time, this got better with time so it wasnt really a problem anymore. I like the way the skiers had a different color everytime. I also accidentally found out, that you can just hold left click and pass through objects to freeze them, in the end I ended up saving everyone with it xD
All in all it was a cute little game with which I had a nice time :D
Thank you for making it!
Thank you so much for playing! We are very happy you enjoyed it! :D
Hahah yeah, we didn't think about holding the mouse!
I like the concept of freezing objects to have skiers pass by but unfortunately idk if it was because of chrome shrinking the screen size or something but the gameplay was not my cup of tea. It got very difficult balancing seeing the skiers' trajectories and stopping the objects up above. Sometimes the skiers disappeared halfway even though there was no object up top and sometimes the objects didn't stop after clicking on them several times so spamming near the top wasn't an option for me. Nonetheless, congrats on your game!
Thank you so much for playing and your feedback! Yes, several people had similar issues.
Now we know for our next jam! :D
Luckily, I never experienced any UI breaking bugs.
At first, I thought I was supposed to freeze certain items to let people get across by jumping on top of them, but once I realized that wasn't the case, the the optimal strategy just became swiping back and forth and freezing everything. Are you supposed to be able to freeze large groups of objects in place by clicking and holding?
Also, this game works on mobile. Don't ask me how I know this.
Yey! Thank you for playing! We didn't try on movile :O
You can freeze several objects at once when clicking, but I think we didn't think about holding n.n" (Newbie mistake...)
Cute idea, but on some devices, skiers disappear in the middle. So i was able to play on one device, but not other. Something to do with screen size?
Thank you for noticing and the suggestion! We'll check that! :)
Is a simple and fun concept, but it caused me problems identifying whether my skiers were saving themselves or dying, since they disappear halfway through the jump, so it is not possible to clearly see if they have managed to cross the cliff or not.
Still a great job! :D
Thank you for letting us know!! Do you mean that they disappear midair? In any case, we will look into it :)
Thanks for playing!
Yes, even if they do not collide with an object they will not be able to reach the other side of the cliff :o
:o Thank you for the bug report, we'll check if it has to do with the frame rate or size of the screen!
Sorry for the mistake, it's our first game n.n"
While very simple, the first playthrough for me was chaotic and fun, watching dozens of skiers being hit by what looked like giant washing machines made me laugh. After the first playthrough I realized that the optimal strategy was to just spam click near the top and not let anything fall down. For a moment though the combo of the music and silliness gave me strong club penguin minigame vibes, so good job!
Thank you so much for playing!! We are happy you enjoyed it! :D
Cool little game.
The clickable areas on the buttons are offset from where they are drawn by a bit.
Thank you for playing and letting us know! We will check how to fix that n.n
