How does your game fit the theme?
The main goal of the game is to fit colored shapes into the black silhouette to reveal a picture in the frame, so the two points of view are as follows:
- Black silhouette and colored shapes when viewed separately
- Combined picture as a whole

A fun and humorous puzzle game with some suggestive silhouettes here and there 😊—before you fill them in with the correct pieces and they turn into something completely different. Very creative and funny—well done! 😊

The palette was incorporated, and we can check off the theme as well (slightly).

The controls worked fine overall, though sometimes the shape wouldn’t rotate when I clicked, and I had to drag it to another location first to make it work. Just a minor issue. The snapping to the correct location was nice—it avoided the frustration of pixel-perfect placement. Did help me even if it sometimes already snapped without me thinking were to place it.

The calm music fit perfectly for a puzzle game, and the sound effects matched the vibe well.

A solid fun puzzle entry for our jam—good work! 👍

I was unsure if to include the first level at all, because the shape is so... strong xD

It fitted well for a starting level as the simplest one, and by the end of the jam I had literally zero creativity left in my brain for any new ideas. But after some rest I finally came up with the way to make this puzzle more... family-friendly haha

So I probably will include this in the post-jam update!

I like this idea, and its fun to play and figure out what the shapes actually are, but for me personally its a bit of s stretch calling it two points of view, but i can see where you were coming from,

and as the "real civil engineer" would say starting with the strongest shape a bold choice

Yeah, I agree that my "two points of view" are not physical or dimensional, but rather philosophic ones =D

But that's kinda the point, I wanted do to something unusual, that won't overlap with the other developers' ideas! Thank you for playing!

I've always liked drawing, but never considered myself talented, so thank you for your kind words 🥹 and for playing my game!

I actually thought about the Rorschach Test when trying to come up with ideas =D

I see what you mean about checking the mouse hold and for the game jam build I deliberately set pieces to snap in place as soon as you move them close enough, because I thought this would feel more satisfying... And also hoped that rotated pieces will prevent full-on brute forcing lol But I'll test how your suggestion feels for the post-jam update! Thanks for the feedback!

Very cool idea with great artwork, really enjoyed it. The automatic snap mechanic is great but maybe a little too permissive. I think everybody has the same thought about the very first puzzle, not everybody dares to acknowledge it ;)

I love the idea of an alluded image, always to have a different image at the end. We all saw the first puzzle 👁️ Im not a huge puzzle guy, so this makes puzzles a little more fun for me. It was VERY satisfying just kinda knowing where the pieces go 80 percent down the line of putting it all together. I would be cool to have a timer to reward speed. coloring book / 10

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the game even though puzzles are not your thing =)

I had a thought about adding the game stats like completion time and number of turns (cause there is a minimal number of turns you can solve each puzzle with) but couldn't fit it into the game jam deadline... I'll try to add this in the post-jam update!

Fun relaxing and polished game

Love the minimalist art style and use of the limited color palette

The way the heart pieces looked like a rose was cool

The controls were a little frustrating since I would try to click and rotate a piece but end up dragging it a tiny distance instead. You could implement something so that if the player accidently drags a piece it registers as a click instead.

Also there was a weird glitch where I would click near the upper right corner, causing the screen to turn red and music to glitch out

I have some ideas on how to fix the problem you mentioned with pieces not rotating if you move a mouse a bit, will try to add it in the post-jam update!

About the screen turning red, I think it happens when you click outside the game window and then drag the cursor in, so the window becomes 'selected'. My friend had this glitch too, but I'm not sure how to prevent this from happening... 🤔
