why does the dream reset each day I'd love it and even prefer if the next night you pick up from where you left off it only resets if your screwed into a big belly

the reset is intentional, and I personally think it makes the most sense. Like having a recurring nightmare, the more you have it the more vivid the dream becomes yet it’s still starts exactly the same way each time.

I believe that the reset is needed in order for the stat management to not be redundant. The dev has stated he wants to make the game *hard* (which hes already done a spectacular job on btw). The loop of the game is explore, get stuck, brute force/eureka, get dopamine. 

Cloud has mentioned they have over 100 hours in the game and still do not know every little bit. The game is DEEP, and without the resets it would be much shorter and imo much less satisfying.
