I understand what you are going for here, and while it fits the theme harder than anything else in the jam possibly could… The game part is kind of missing here. The dialogue was very funny and introspective, which played into the lack of gameplay aspect extremely well. Unfortunately, there is not much I can talk about the (not) game with the limited time I have to play it, so let’s move on to the Game Design Document. The layout of the document is easy to follow. The only things I would add aren’t very applicable to this game, like future planning and artwork explaining the design or mechanics… because there isn’t really a lot of need for that here.

How come a meme game need to be this good. Why! And really you have to go the extra mile and add in full voice over? That's overkill!

It truly is 10/10 hands down. This is how you beat the mountain. Super well done!

UPDATED 🤣 I played this during the jam before submissions and I came back to play it again - and it has so much more content!! I was surprised with the number of voice lines, you did excellent with those. I also did some clicking to fast-forward through the lines, and it performs just like a real game would do - it cuts the audio correctly and plays the next line without any problems. If I were to suggest a little improvement to this game, I think some environment ambience would have been nice... Perhaps some birds flying by and landing on it! I enjoyed this entry a lot

I do agree with you haha
For context, at first I just wanted to do something quickly, hence the lack of environment etc

I thought the voicelines would be quick to make, boy I was wrong hahaha

For the dialogue, I used Dialogic, so if things are good, it's thanks to it
Though for the voicelines, when you tried skipping fast, it stopped the voice when you clicked to display the full text, so I had to fix that
