I have windows 10

I ain't tech guy but I think u should reinstall it if you didn't play it earlier, and if you did- copy save files from data onto "out of game files" folder and when reinstalled the game, delete new save files and insert old ones that you put in "out of game files" folder

That usually fixes the issue, if it persists-
