  • I enjoyed the game. I like the style and the audio. The game fits the theme with you being the sword. I really like the upgrades and was able to reach Legendary status on my first life! I like it and it feels a lot like slay the spire and similar games with the upgrades. It would be cool to see the sword change a bit with the upgrades though.

Summarise your game!
Imperituro is a roguelike strategy simulation game in which you follow the path of a sword, passed from hero to hero through the tides of battle. You can upgrade your sword and influence various other mechanics before and during each battle to alter the outcome. If the current wielder falls, the victor may claim the sword—shaping the sword’s legend with each duel. The ultimate goal is to maximize the sword’s reputation, increasing its value when it is finally sold at auction.

Before and during each battle between 2 heroes, the player can influence the outcome in several ways. The player can get upgrades before the battle, and intervene between strikes during battle.
The end goal is to get the highest reputation for the sword (legendary), which can be achieved by win streaks and winning against high-level opponents.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player follows the path of the sword, whose fate doesn’t necessarily have to be linked to its current wielder.

Holy I can't express how enjoyable this game was, I barely understand half the mechanics and still managed to spent like an hour playing it. Really fun, love it!
