  • Ok, I was confused with this one! I had to reread the GDD a couple of times to get what was happening. I think the spawn rate and and speed of this was just too chaotic for me to really grasp what was going on! But hey, you are indeed the weapon, even if you moving also hurts the person holding you until they die! The sprites were really nice, good pixel art! Consider a contrast between the background and sprites, so you can see them better! The music was fun, albeit a little repetitive. I think there was no clear goal, so all I did was stay still and swing the sword around ad infinitum. Which was fun as well! All in all, it was enjoyable, and if you had fun making it, do the extra things you had planned, I'm sure it will turn into something very entertaining!

Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
You used to be a great warrior that died in battle but refused to give up, seeking revenge, swearing to only rest in peace after finding your killer. You go on a rampage and other enemy warriors hear of you and want to own you but you strike back never giving up.

Final boss is the person that killed you who turns out was someone who stole your identity to commit awful crimes. Your soul then leaves the sword and passes into the afterlife peacefully, knowing you took revenge and cleared your name at the same time.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are the weapon.

I had fun playing this! Movement feels good. I wish I could earn something with all my kills though. Good job!

Very fun gameplay even though the game is underdeveloped. I like it!
