Pretty cool, was able to consistently hit the king after just 4 upgrades. The bolt would sometimes launch at an angle that was completely off course but other than that pretty fun.

- I played in Firefox :) I'm loving the concept. It really was enjoyable firing the bolt and guiding it to the enemy. I liked that you were rewarded based on where you hit the target. I did enjoy the upgrade system. I tended to focus on upgrading control and started enjoying even more when I could control the bolt more. The music was really well done. I loved how it transitioned when you launched the bolt and then slowed back down when you're back to aiming. The initial launch of the bolt was wildly all over the place. I can understand the aim being inaccurate until you upgrade more but it just seemed to be pretty drastically off at times. An idea I think would take the game to another level is having a sort of campaign or story mode. You have to defeat all of the enemies in level 1 to move on and then upgrades are tied to that campaign. Overall, a very awesome concept that I enjoyed playing. I could see myself playing this a lot more. Thank you for creating and submitting it. I hope you enjoyed the jam and will join us for more in the future!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes! Double checked!
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes also that!
Summarise your game!
Play as a ballista and a bolt, score and upgrade over time, and enjoy the positive feedback loop!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as a siege weapon! Very literal, but it counts. I think.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The music system is a prototype of a dynamic music system I've been working on, where it transitions between different styles and energy levels contextually. Similar in a way to Skyrim, with simpler music and shorter loops, but synced in both BPM and key, allowing it to blend seamlessly between tracks.
