The idea is REALLY cool, and the vibe is really nice too.

Overall, a really cool game, good job!

I find the minimalistic visuals really effective here, also it has a kind of crt look, really well made, the animations are smooth and the gameplay is innovative. I rate graphics, fun and control on top, but all is cool, also, if you have time, please rate my game too, thanks!!!!

This felt like survival-tower defense build game =D  Very interesting having to drag these turrets around and not get shot.

Such a cool concept! I love the mix of tower defense and action, and the Atari-style graphics and sounds give it a great vibe. It would be nice to be able to rotate tiles while holding them--I kept trying to do that, and getting them pointed the right way was a bit of a challenge. As far as balance goes, I think tiles should be able to take more than one hit. As it is, there's no incentive to build up a big machine, because you'll spend all your time running to replace parts. I pretty quickly settled into dropping a cannon or two right next to the main gear, and focusing my efforts on shooting manually, because trying to build out was too frustrating.

Great job on the boss design--they all felt different, and I loved the third boss picking up my tiles and throwing them at me. It was a lot of fun to play, and I'd love to see where you go with it if you keep developing.

I really like the construction aspect of his board while dodging attacks, even though I have to admit I had a hard time against the swarm!

Well done, i really like your game !

I really like what you did here! The mechanics are great and quite frantic. I managed to kill the first boss and struggled with the Swarm, as there is a lot of going on. I think the building part is really clever.

The the building parts die a little to fast and one has to constantly place some in between parts so the boss would focus on them and not destroy once wheel chain to in turn let the towers do their thing. I guess a little tweaking on their health part could help a lot, so one can really enjoy the building aspect of the game more :)

I really like the esthetics, sounds and feel to it! Job very well done.

good mechanics and fun.  Good game design.

This is another game that gets perfect marks on the theme implementation!  The boss feels like they shoot a little too fast sometimes, so it makes the fight go on a little too long.  But other than that, I had a lot of fun!

Great implementation of the theme. Took me a while to grasp all the mechanics. The game gave me sweaty palms.

Very good idea to build defense mechanisms against the bosses. A bit hard sometimes to keep up with the boss' fire rate. Love the visuals

I'm a big fan of this game, had a great time playing and finding all the Easter eggs. Great work!

Developer

So happy you found the easter eggs!! Wasn't sure if they were too hidden when I was making them. Thanks for playing!

Took me a bit to learn the rope but feel good afterwards to construct an army of turret! Nice job!

Honestly, I just love these kind of games where you get to build defenses and make an armada of turrets. Love the game play!

Took a bit of time to understand how to play but finally understood after a time. There is some interesting ideas on this one, i enjoyed the 8-bit music that you did!

That took me a while to understand how to play, but I really liked it. It honestly reminded me of this board game Galaxy Trucker, where you build your own ship. Some constructive ideas - the pea shooter I think was not needed, if it was all a building style of a game I'd be happy. Add some sort of a powered barrier/shield, that can withstand hits from 1 direction, if powered. Add some sort of mechanic to the boss, as now it seems that while it takes me forever to kill it, I am going to win for sure. So don't know about time, but something that slightly complicates things. Well done! One of the better games I played so far!

Would love it if you can review my submission as well, thanks!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback. The second and third bosses actually introduce a "Wall" part that can withstand 5 hits. They don't need to be powered to do so, which might be an area of improvement. Looking forward to trying your game!

I would say a bit weak take on theme, but otherwise quite cute little game, would be interesting to see it with more bosses and more different parts.
